Ghost Town

This humorous book for young adults is set in the fictional town of Paisley, Kansas. Spencer Adams Honesty and his imaginary friend, Chief Leopard Frog wander around town taking pictures of the abandoned houses in town while his mother serves as the town's head postman. Because the town is a ghost town, her primary job is to forward mail on to Paisley's former residents. Spencer is given some of the junk catalogs and discovers "Uncle Milton’s Thousand Things You Thought You’d Never Find." When Spencer breaks his camera, he strikes up a correspondence with Uncle Milton in the interests of obtaining a new camera. This correspondence leads to fun new adventures for Spencer and the Chief.
